The Doll Tour
Japan
The Doll Tour is a curated, hands-on, guided group tour experience of Japan for English-speaking ball-jointed doll enthusiasts, led by two longtime contributors to the American BJD community with a combined 40 years in the hobby.
Our goal with The Doll Tour is not just to bring you to Japan, but to create lifelong memories with like-minded people and make some new friends along the way.
We’re Lanie and Bianca, two doll-obsessed besties who want to go to Japan with you!
We handle all the legwork for you on this tour. Flights, accommodations, reservations, tickets - let us take care of the boring stuff so all you have to do is show up ready to have fun!
Over the course of 7-10 days, tour organizers Lanie and Bianca will personally introduce you and a group of eight to twelve other doll lovers to must-see Japanese doll-related stores, events, and experiences in Tokyo and Kyoto. Hotel bookings, restaurant recommendations, and general Japan travel guidance are also included in The Doll Tour, so you can focus on having a great time and don’t have to sweat the small stuff.
